supports the local Autism Walk event to raise money to continue
research to find a cure for autism.
Blood & Marrow
Transplant Information Network (BMT InfoNet)
BMT InfoNet is a leading patient education and support
organization for people in need of a bone marrow, blood stem cell or
cord blood transplant. Otsuka has supported the organization with a
grant to help fund their annual “Celebrating Life Calendar” which
provides hope and inspiration to thousands of transplant patients,
survivors and medical personnel who work with this patient
population.
Depression and
Bipolar Support Alliance
Otsuka supports
DBSA’s patient/consumer and general public education outreach
efforts “to improve the lives of people living with mood disorders.”

unrestricted educational grant to ITN to be used for the development
and production of the educational oncology series “Waging War on
Cancer”, airing nationally on the Public Broadcasting System (PBS).

Otsuka supports APF’s annual Awards for Advancing Minority Mental
Health, which recognize programs and individuals that have
undertaken innovative and supportive efforts to raise awareness of
mental health issues and improve access and quality of care in
underserved populations. Otsuka is also the sponsor of the APF’s
Helping Hands program to support medical students working in
collaboration with existing community agencies.
