With more than 25 years of experience across various financial and strategic leadership positions in healthcare, Steve is passionate about helping organizations make enterprise-level decisions that drive value to patients, employees, and other stakeholders. As Chief Financial Officer, he is focused on optimizing resource allocation and prioritizing strategic investments to develop the next generation of therapies that will drive positive outcomes and bring hope for patients. With Otsuka's purpose as a guiding light, Steve believes we have the potential to rise up beyond our perceived limits, achieving new levels of performance.

Steve's unwavering dedication to patients has served him well throughout his career in the industry. Prior to joining Otsuka, he was Vice President, Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis and Decision Support at Celgene Corporation, where he was responsible for the continuous proactive analysis of Celgene's P&L forecast trends, and supported the prioritization and optimization of Celgene's financial performance. Prior to this, Steve held various leadership roles of increasing responsibility at BiogenIDEC and Aventis Pharmaceuticals, working across FP&A, Financial Systems, and Financial Shared Services and Management Reporting.

Steve has his Bachelor of Arts from Rutgers College and a Masters of Business Administration from Rutgers Graduate School of Management.
